And we have ice...

Yesterday we had temperatures around 50 degrees.  This time of the year that usually means we are in for trouble.  Early morning yesterday it started raining.  When the sun went down so did the temperatures.  When we went to bed last night it was 37 degrees and still raining.

We have a bit of ice hanging on all of the branches and power lines.  A light coating on our porch.

It's no fun to be out in, but it sure it pretty to look at.  We had a nasty ice storm here in 1991.  Power was out all over.  Thankfully it isn't that bad here today.

We did not loose power here.  But northwest of here has thousands without power.  It is currently 32 degrees outside as I type this up.

My husband said the roads were fine.  The only problem was fog.  I'm still home battling the flu.

I've noticed there has been crazy weather all over the United States.  How is the weather where you are?  On a happy note...the weather man said we can expect some snow on Christmas Eve!

We are having an ice storm at the moment. It's very inconvenient for my travelling family. I hope that we will not loose power.

Stay safe and warm.
